Office communicator not updating my status high dating
We’ve read that primary SMTP address assigned to mailbox is causing problems, with status updates in Microsoft Lync 2013.
I have a user whose status in MS Lync does not change to busy when a meeting/appointment that was scheduled in Outlook occurs.
It appears as a little red asterisk in the lower right-hand corner of the status light.
Also, your Lync status message is automatically set to whatever your Oo OA internal message is.
Even changing the status message in Lync manually did not work; it was immediately reset to the one set up in Outlook.
Closing and reopening both Lync and Outlook had no apparent effect.
