Asp gridview onupdating
In the example below I am using a simple Grid View control and updating the User Name, First Name and Last Name.
The Bind("User Name") will get the username from the database and display it on the screen and it will also send the username back to the database when you update.
But, now the question is that how will you update the username or send the username to the database.
But what happens is that I do get some of the values but they are the original values not the new ones being changed.
I have attempted multiple things to get this into the page and even started to just rewrite it as an web form, but even then I can't reuse any of the code since the System. When the web page is run and I attempt to insert from the Forms View, the Grid View doesn't update unless it's forced, essentially forcing a reload of the whole page.
